Reed Tosses Shutout
The Kansas City Royals rolled to an easy 6-0 win over the New York Yankees at Royals Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Rick Reed, who shackled the New York Yankees and held them scoreless on a 4-hitter.

"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Reed said in his postgame press conference.

On the season Reed has a 9-7 record with a 4.35 ERA.
