Brewers Walk Off with Win
|
The Milwaukee Brewers saddled the Los Angeles Dodgers with a loss at Milwaukee County Stadium. The final score was 3-2. Glenn Davis, named player of the game, was 4 for 5, including 2 singles and 2 home runs. The Milwaukee designated hitter scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The win was credited to Mike Timlin in relief. There was more than one reason the Brewers beat the Dodgers, but Davis's big at-bat in the bottom of the ninth was an important factor. He staked his team to a 3-2 lead when he hit a walk-off solo home run.
