The Orlando Sun Rays scored a 2-1 win versus the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. Orlando pitcher Kevin Appier nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Appier picked up the win for Orlando, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 13-6. The Sun Rays bumped their record to 64-49 with this latest triumph.
