Late Rally by Twins Secures Win
The Minnesota Twins topped the New York Yankees, 6-2, in Federal League action at Yankee Stadium. The player of the game was Minnesota pitcher and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania native Chris Nabholz. Nabholz, now 9-9, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. The Twins saw their record improve to 46-71.

Minnesota took a 6-2 lead on Todd Zeile's 17th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Zeile hit in the top of the eighth, left New York pitcher Steve Ontiveros visibly frustrated.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Nabholz said.
