Washington's Robinson Shuts Out Giants
Jeff D. Robinson of the Washington Senators humiliated the San Francisco Giants at RFK Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 1 hit.

"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said San Francisco manager Alen Maglajac, after the game.

Robinson whiffed 3 and walked 4 in the 3-0 win.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Robinson said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."

So far in 26 appearances this season, Robinson has recorded 11 wins and sustained 10 losses. He has pitched 171.1 innings, yielded 170 hits, fanned 97 and has a 4.31 ERA.
