Pedro Munoz helped his team muscle past the Toronto Blue Jays, 7-6. In the game, the New York right fielder went 3 for 6 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs. New York now sits at 62-60, while Toronto falls to 63-59.
Pedro Guerrero, who led the UL in hits with 189 in 1988, helped out the New York cause in the bottom of the 12th inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1-1.
