The Cincinnati Reds picked up a win at Yankee Stadium, knocking off the New York Yankees, 5-3. Starting pitcher Juan Nieves played a key role in the triumph. Cincinnati now has a 3-game win streak.

Matt Stairs contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that helped Cincinnati get the win.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Stairs told the Cincinnati Today.
