Dodgers Win at Toronto, 7-1
|
Los Angeles right-hander Greg Maddux pitched his team to victory over the Toronto Blue Jays at SkyDome. The final score was 7-1. The win boosts the Dodgers to 59-69. The loss puts the Blue Jays at 65-64.
Greg Vaughn in the top of the fourth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Dodgers leading 1-0, the Los Angeles left fielder hit a 2-run single.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Dodgers manager Andrew Cole, "I like our chances."
