Trammell, Orioles Sink Royals Again in Game 3
The Baltimore Orioles moved to within one game of the Round 4 today, downing the visiting Kansas City Royals at Memorial Stadium by a score of 9-7. Orioles shortstop Alan Trammell was named player of the game after he was 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win gives the Orioles a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 World Series.

Matt Nokes swatted a 3-run home run for Baltimore in the bottom of the first. The catcher went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Nokes. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
