Seattle Pilots starter Wally Whitehurst pitched a strong game against the Montreal Expos at Olympic Stadium, leading the Pilots to a 8-3 win. Whitehurst got the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 9 innings. Whitehurst allowed 3 earned runs. The win brings the Pilots to 13-5, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
