Red Sox Stumble, Lose to Royals
The Kansas City Royals picked up a win at Royals Stadium, knocking off the Boston Red Sox, 10-4. Starting pitcher Kevin Brown, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. At 14-7, the Royals have played well so far.

Making an impact for the home team was Orlando Merced. In the bottom of the third, the 25-year old right fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 3-1, Royals.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Kansas City manager Daniel Drucker.
