Ruffin Twirls White Sox to Shutout Win
|
The Chicago White Sox rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the Texas Rangers at Arlington Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Bruce Ruffin, who shackled the Texas Rangers and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Ruffin said in his postgame press conference.
Thus far this season Ruffin has posted a 3-2 record, started 6 games, struck out 34 batters in 46.2 innings and compiled a 2.89 ERA.
