Sun Rays Lose to Pirates, 3-2
Pittsburgh starter Terry Mulholland pitched effectively against the Orlando Sun Rays at Orlando Citrus Bowl. The left-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. Bryan Harvey notched his 21st save in 26 chances. Pittsburgh has now won 3 in a row.

It could have been a different outcome for Pittsburgh, had it not been for Andy Van Slyke, the six-time All-Star . Van Slyke contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Pittsburgh up, 3-0.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Orlando manager Ben Tennyson.
