The Detroit Tigers bested the Baltimore Orioles, 8-7, at Memorial Stadium. Dante Bichette was named player of the game. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Detroit is now 75-62.

With the clubs tied 0-0 in the top of the second and a runner on 2nd, Detroit sent Bichette to the plate. He got a 2-0 fastball and hit a 2-run home run, to put the Tigers on top, 2-0.
