Reds Come Back Late to Clip Red Sox

Cincinnati and Boston duked it out at Fenway Park and the Reds came out victorious.
A 4-RBI performance from Kevin McReynolds, who finished 3rd in the UL in doubles with 38 in 1983, helped the Cincinnati Reds beat the Boston Red Sox, 7-4. Mark Clear earned the save for Cincinnati, his 1st.
Kevin McReynolds provided some late-game drama. In the top of the ninth, with two out and the bases loaded, McReynolds hit a grand slam home run. It helped Cincinnati take the lead and grab the win.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," McReynolds said.
With the loss, Boston drops to 16-11.
