Mussina Takes Charge, Blanks Atlanta
Today was Mike Mussina's turn in the rotation for the Cincinnati Reds and he made the most of it, shutting out the Atlanta Braves on 5 hits.

The 23-year-old right-hander led the Reds to an easy 7-0 victory, allowing 2 walks and tallying 13 strikeouts.

"I hope we miss him next time," Atlanta manager Will Henderson said. "Mussina certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."

So far this year Mussina has a 19-10 record with a 3.64 ERA.
