Schilling 'Lights Out' in Milwaukee Win
|
The Milwaukee Brewers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Curt Schilling, who muffled the San Diego offense en route to a tight 3-1 Brewers win at Jack Murphy Stadium. The losing streak for San Diego has now reached 10 games.
Schilling was effective for Milwaukee, seldom allowing the Padres to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 105 pitches over 8 innings. He limited San Diego to just 1 run on 3 hits.
"I had everything working," said Schilling.
