Blue Jays Walk It Off for 74th Win of Season
Toronto starter Pat Hentgen pitched effectively against the Baltimore Orioles at SkyDome. The right-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. The win was credited to Jeff Keener in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Steve Shirley took the loss. Toronto, now 74-68, holds third place in the United League East Division.

With two out in the bottom of the tenth, Robin Yount lit into a curveball from Steve Shirley for a solo home run. That made the score 2-1 in favor of the Blue Jays. For the day, Yount went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles.

"It was terrific getting this win," Yount said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
