Expos Come Back Late to Clip Senators
The Montreal Expos trumped the Washington Senators, 9-7, at RFK Stadium. Montreal left fielder Chad Curtis was named player of the game for his performance. He was 2-4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. With the win, the Expos improved to 61-80.

Curtis contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Montreal in the top of the eighth. With his team trailing 7-5, Curtis took a fastball from Frank Pastore and stroked the double to left-center. His 15th double of the season allowed the Expos to leap in front, 8-7.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Curtis.
