Twins Topple Cardinals with Late Rally
Minnesota Twins starter Pedro Astacio pitched a strong game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Metrodome, leading the Twins to a 5-3 win. Minnesota has now won 3 in a row.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Koji Akiyama came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing St. Louis pitcher Jimmy Key, he hit a 1-2 fastball for a 2-run home run. It was a game-changer, putting Minnesota on top, 5-3.

"It was a good effort all around," said Astacio.
