Smoltz Cruises in Win Over Reds
The Orlando Sun Rays went home winners at Orlando Citrus Bowl, thanks in large part to starter John Smoltz. Smoltz silenced the Cincinnati Reds, enabling Orlando to grab the 10-0 win. Orlando now sits at 83-63, while Cincinnati falls to 76-70.

Smoltz earned the win, going 8.2 strong innings for Orlando. The native of Detroit, Michigan allowed just 2 hits, while striking out 11. Cincinnati hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Smoltz, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
