Victory Pushes Blue Jays Record to 81-75
|
The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at SkyDome, knocking off the Detroit Tigers, 7-3. On the mound for Toronto was right-hander Ed Correa, who played a pivotal role in the win. Toronto, at 81-75, occupies third place in the United League East Division.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when designated hitter Felix Jose hit a double. The Blue Jays went on to win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Jose said after the game.
