Pilots Lose to Brewers, 2-0
|
Milwaukee starter Mike Bielecki pitched effectively against the Seattle Pilots at Kingdome. The right-hander led his team to a 2-0 win. Mike Hartley notched his 26th save in 37 chances. The Brewers bumped their record to 81-74 with this latest triumph.
Doing his part for Milwaukee was third baseman Jack Howell, who stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, Howell was 1 for 3.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Bielecki.
