Johnson Lays Hammer Down in 12-1 Win
Seattle Pilots starter Randy Johnson was in fine form against the Washington Senators at Kingdome, leading his team to a 12-1 win. The Pilots have hit the ground running, raising their record to 21-10. While it's still too soon to talk about Seattle hoisting their 1st World Series trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.

Johnson, who leaned on his slider, allowed 1 run on just 3 hits over 9 innings for the Pilots. For the most part, Washington hitters were simply overmatched.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Washington manager Alexander Cumana. "We got flat-out beat."
