Tomlin Sensational for Braves
|
The Atlanta Braves got a stellar performance from pitcher Randy Tomlin, who handcuffed the New York offense en route to a 4-1 win at Yankee Stadium. The 4th-place Braves improved to 73-84.
Tomlin allowed 1 run over 9 innings. He also racked up 6 strikeouts.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Atlanta skipper Will Henderson. "I can't complain."
