Sun Rays Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Cardinals
Orlando got a strong outing from Bruce Hurst as the Sun Rays defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 5-2, at Busch Stadium. The Sun Rays, now 21-11, have been on a roll in the early going.

Orlando used the timely hitting of Jose Hernandez to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sun Rays on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Hernandez told the Orlando News.
