Davis Helps Milwaukee Cruise to 11-3 Win
The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Seattle Pilots, 11-3, at Kingdome. Milwaukee designated hitter Glenn Davis was named player of the game for his superb performance. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Today's win puts Milwaukee at 20-18, while Seattle falls to 24-14.

Davis had a key at-bat for Milwaukee early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and gave Milwaukee an early 2-0 lead.

Davis said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
