Guthrie Guns Down Texas
|
Mark Guthrie of the Kansas City Royals humiliated the Texas Rangers at Royals Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 4 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Texas manager Sean Norman, after the game.
Guthrie whiffed 7 and walked 3 in the 4-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Guthrie said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
In 8 starts this season Guthrie has rung up a 4-2 record and a 3.25 ERA.
