Giants Reel Off Another Win
|
San Francisco Giants starter Bob Sebra was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Baltimore Orioles, 4-3. San Francisco has now won 7 games in a row.
Moises Alou had a big run-scoring single for the Giants in the bottom of the third inning. With San Francisco leading 3-0 and a runner on 3rd, he got a fastball from Mark Portugal and stroked the single to center. It was his 40th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Giants ahead, 4-0.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Baltimore manager Sara Cole. "The effort was great."
