Cardinals Get Road Win, 10-5
St. Louis second baseman Craig Grebeck was instrumental in his team's 10-5 win over the Boston Red Sox. Grebeck, who is tied for 3rd in the FL in doubles with 15, went 3-5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cardinals. The winner was Joe Johnson, who threw 93 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 5 runs on 8 hits. Dan Plesac earned the save, his 3rd.

Grebeck in the top of the fifth had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and the Cardinals leading 4-3, he hit a run-scoring triple.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said St. Louis manager Adam Rabel.

St. Louis currently is in second place in the Federal League Central Division at 25-19.
