White Sox Lose to Reds, 4-1

Cincinnati Reds starter Mike Mussina was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Chicago White Sox, 4-1. Cincinnati has now won 4 straight, while the White Sox have lost 3 in a row.
Eric Davis had a productive at-bat for the Reds with one out in the top of the third. With a runner on 1st, the center fielder hit a 2-run home run. The at-bat was important in the Cincinnati win.
"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said Mussina. "Successful pitchers do it."
