Kansas City played host to St. Louis at the friendly confines of Royals Stadium.
The Kansas City Royals bested the St. Louis Cardinals, 10-3, at Royals Stadium. Orlando Merced was named player of the game. He went 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
