Burks goes 3-for-4, Leads Blue Jays to Win
Toronto left fielder Ellis Burks was a significant contributor in his team's 8-3 triumph over the Washington Senators. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for Toronto. With the win, Toronto goes to 30-26, while the Senators fall to 22-34.

The Blue Jays took a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning. Facing Washington hurler Jamie Moyer with one out, Burks hit a bases-clearing double.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Burks.
