Blue Jays Roll to 11-2 Win Over Mets

Ellis Burks helped his team muscle past the New York Mets, 11-2. In the game, the Toronto left fielder went 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Dana Kiecker, credited with the win, is now 5-4. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 5.2 innings. Toronto is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Toronto left fielder Ellis Burks. In the top of the eighth inning, with one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Burks hit a 3-run home run to help Toronto seize the win.
