Orlando pitcher Andy Benes did his part in helping his team beat the Boston Red Sox, 7-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Benes, now 8-3, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. The Sun Rays bumped their record to 34-26 with this latest triumph.
