Pirates Rally For Late Win Over Twins
Pittsburgh Pirates starter Kelly Downs was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Minnesota Twins, 5-2. Pittsburgh now owns a record of 29-34.

Contributing to the Pittsburgh win was Jose Valentin. In the top of the eighth, the 22-year old shortstop had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 4-2, the Pirates in front.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Downs.
