|
Baltimore Orioles starter Mark Portugal was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-2. Baltimore is now 44-20, 8½ games up in the United League East Division.
Kenny Lofton, the Baltimore center fielder, contributed a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to make the score 2-1, Orioles. For the game, Lofton was 2 for 5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs.
