Expos Shut Out Orioles
|
Montreal right-hander Charles Nagy pitched his team to victory over the Baltimore Orioles at Olympic Stadium. The final score was 3-0. Ken Howell converted his 6th save in 8 tries. Montreal is now 25-45, Baltimore 46-24.
Contributing to the Montreal win was Todd Hundley. In the bottom of the seventh, the top prospect had a solo home run. That made the score 1-0, the Expos in front.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Hundley.
