Saberhagen Tosses Shutout Against Cardinals
|
Bret Saberhagen of the Texas Rangers humiliated the St. Louis Cardinals at Arlington Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 1 hit.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said St. Louis manager Adam Rabel, after the game.
Saberhagen whiffed 6 and walked 4 in the 10-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Saberhagen said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
This season-to-date Saberhagen has 6 wins and 6 losses and a 4.79 ERA.
