Athletics Hapless Against Brewers, Schilling
|
Milwaukee and Oakland duked it out at Oakland Coliseum and the Brewers came out victorious.
Milwaukee Brewers starter Curt Schilling was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Oakland Athletics, 4-1. At 40-41, the Brewers find themselves in 4th place in the United League West Division.
Schilling was effective against the Athletics, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Oakland to just 1 run on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Oakland manager JJ Williams.
