Mike Parrott of the Oakland Athletics humiliated the Baltimore Orioles at Oakland Coliseum today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 2 hits.

"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Baltimore manager Sara Cole, after the game.

Parrott whiffed 7 and walked 2 in the 4-0 win.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Parrott said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."

Checking out his stats for the season, Parrott has notched 7 wins and 5 losses in 11 starts, 3.20 ERA and struck out 64 batters in 107 innings.
