Youmans Hurls San Francisco to Shutout Victory
The San Francisco Giants rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the New York Mets at Shea Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Floyd Youmans, who shackled the New York Mets and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter.

"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Youmans said in his postgame press conference.

To date this season Youmans is 10-4 with 15 starts and an ERA of 2.96 with 122 strikeouts in 112.1 innings.
