Gonzalez Brings Home UL Batter of Month Honor

Milwaukee Brewers fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in August.
Juan Gonzalez put up a remarkable month at the age of 22 and has been named the United League Batter of the Month.
For the month, Gonzalez hit .297 with 13 home runs, 33 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
Looking at his present stats, Gonzalez has compiled a .272 batting average in 133 games with a .320 on-base percentage, while hitting 46 home runs and driving in 110 runs.
