Blue Jays Correa Gone for Year Sunday, September 20th, 1992 A blow for Ed Correa today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 3 months with a partially torn labrum. Correa suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Toronto Blue Jays are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Correa's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.
