Pilots Prevail, as Division Series Goes to the Wire
Wednesday, October 7th, 1992
In an exciting Division Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is Doubleday Baseball League fans who have come out the winner.

But on the field, the winners were the Seattle Pilots, who edged the Detroit Tigers 4-3 to advance to the League Championship.

Seattle won the final game by a 9-6 count to wrap up the series. Terry Pendleton earned series MVP honors, by hitting .310 with a .355 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Seattle Pilots will play against the Baltimore Orioles in the next round. Baltimore won their series against the San Francisco Giants 4 games to 3. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
