Kansas City Royals, Rangers Agree to Trade Tuesday, December 1st, 1992 After prolonged negotiations Kansas City agreed to ship 33-year-old LF Jim Eisenreich to Texas for 21-year-old LHP Johnny Guzman. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." His career numbers show Eisenreich is hitting .284 with a total of 95 home runs. |
