Mark Knudson Injured, Out for Year

When Mark Knudson was hurt against the Phoenix Firebirds, the Denver Bears were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 30-year-old starting pitcher suffered radial nerve compression throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Knudson would miss 7 months of the season.
