Beavers Sweep Pauoa in HWL Championship

In the end, it was Kalihi.
If they had any uncertainty going into the final game of the 1991 Hawaii Winter League, Kalihi did not show it on the field. The team played a competent, confident game, dispatching with tournament runner-up Pauoa by a final margin of 13-2.
"It was one winner-take-all game," manager said. "We knew we did not have any margin for error and we played accordingly."
