Turtles End Clark's Streak Sunday, February 3rd, 1991 The Makiki Seals lost to the Palolo Turtles 5-3 today at Memorial Stadium, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Dave Clark's 0-game hitting streak. The left fielder went 0-for-4 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Clark, we would win the game," Turtles manager explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." Batting .324 to date, Clark has 1 home run and 4 RBIs. |
