American Association Names Top Player

26-year-old second baseman Mark McLemore of the Miami Miracle is the talk of the American Association for putting on a torrid hitting display last week and claiming the Player of the Week Award.
McLemore rapped out a sensational .524 batting average with 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs and 11 RBIs.
For the year McLemore is batting .408 with 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
